Pilgrim Memorial State Park on the waterfront is one of the most heavily visited parks in the state parks system. Nearly one million people a year come from all over the world to visit “The Rock” and the town where in 1620 Europeans first made a home in New England.
More than 100,000 visitors from all over the world come through this center each year. Its convenient location (at the rotary across the street from Plymouth Harbor) makes it the perfect first stop when you arrive in Plymouth.
Perfect for hiking, there are 13 miles of beautiful hiking trails passing through ponds, cranberry bogs, and beautiful pine forests. Other recreational opportunities available seasonally include cross country skiing, swimming, canoeing and picnicking.
